Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA): Interested in coming into full communion in the Catholic Church? Or maybe just interested in learning more about the Catholic faith?

Welcome! Are you Baptized outside the Catholic Church? Unbaptized? Baptized in the Catholic Church but never received the Sacrament of Confirmation? Whatever your state of faith, family history, etc. – there is a place for you at the Table of Plenty!

Or are you a Catholic in good standing here at the Church of St. Therese?  We want you too!

Parishioners are needed for various roles in the OCIA program – sponsors, presenters, hospitality, etc. Participating in OCIA presents a fabulous opportunity to: Learn more about our faith (things we have forgotten or even never knew!)

Make new friends and get to know your faith community more intimately

Please contact Kerry Fallon in the parish office to sign up, ask questions, and let us know what you think.

The Four Pillars of Our Faith:  Join the Adult Faith Formation team for a study of the four pillars of our faith:  the Creed, the Sacraments, Life in Christ, Prayer.  We will begin with 12 weeks on the Creed, starting September 14th, 3:00-4:00.  Through Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition, we will explore what we believe and why we believe.  You can order the workbook yourself through AscensionPress.com (click on “Bible Studies” and scroll down to “Pillar 1: The Creed”), or Kerry Fallon can order the book for you. Please contact Kerry Fallon in the office or via email, K.fallon@stthersglo.org.

Theater N Theology (TNT) We marvel at how God’s mercy, presence, and grace breaks into the lives of ordinary people in good times and in crisis. That is what we see in the films that we view and discuss at our parish TNT (Theater ‘N’ Theology).  All are welcome to come to our St. Therese Movie Theater (the “Meeting Room”).  After the movie (the “Theater” part), we discuss the film’s relevance to our life in Christ and note the action of God’s mercy (the “Theology” part).  We will have an intermission midway through the film, and if anyone wants to bring refreshments to share, we’ll have refreshments!  Facilitated by Fr. Gregory.  All are welcome.  Come watch a great movie with your brothers and sisters in Christ! Check the current bulletin for the next dat
