Justice and Charity

Justice and Charity

The mission of the Justice and Charity ministry is to help provide for the needs of the poor and homeless in our community and to promote parish participation in the ministry’s activities. Some of the organizations we support are The Salvation Army, Catholic Charities of Eastern Virginia, Gloucester United Emergency Shelter Team (G.U.E.S.T.), and Bread for Life Food Pantry. See below for ways to use your talents in serving our community.

Bread for Life

The Food Pantry distributes food to the hungry and includes many volunteers from St. Therese. Donations to the food pantry accepted in the shopping cart in the Social Hall. Helpers are always appreciated!

Distribution hours: Mondays 11am-2pm and Wednesdays 1pm-4pm.

Address: 7840 John Clayton Memorial Highway.

Mailing Address: PO Box 61, Gloucester, VA 23061.
